Wine Showcase
Project Overview
This bespoke wine room installation was conceived as both a functional wine storage environment and a striking architectural centrepiece. Designed to celebrate the client’s collection while enhancing the wider interior, the space combines precision engineering, atmospheric lighting and luxurious materiality to create a truly immersive experience.
The project balances display and preservation, transforming wine storage into a sculptural feature through illuminated bottle presentation, bronze detailing and richly textured finishes.
The Brief
The client wanted a statement wine display that would showcase their growing collection in a sophisticated and highly visual way while maintaining ideal storage conditions. The design needed to feel luxurious and contemporary, integrating seamlessly within the surrounding interior architecture while creating a dramatic focal point for entertaining.
A key part of the brief was to elevate the display beyond traditional wine storage by introducing layered lighting, floating bottle presentation and premium material finishes that would create depth, warmth and theatre throughout the space.

Design Overview
Concept
A contemporary architectural wine display designed to combine museum-style presentation with high-performance wine storage.
Atmosphere
Dark, dramatic and immersive, with warm integrated lighting enhancing the richness of the materials and the colour variation of the wine collection itself.
Materials
Smoked oak interiors, bronze-toned metalwork, illuminated glass detailing and stone-effect feature panels create a layered and luxurious composition throughout the installation.
Lighting
Integrated vertical LED lighting transforms the cabinetry into a sculptural feature, illuminating each bottle individually while enhancing reflections, depth and atmosphere within the room.
The Joinery
The wine room is centred around a bespoke full-height glazed wine display with precision-engineered bottle supports designed to create a floating presentation effect. Bottles are displayed horizontally across illuminated smoked oak cabinetry, allowing labels and colour variation to become part of the visual composition.
At the heart of the installation, a backlit stone feature panel provides a contrasting focal point, displaying selected bottles in a gallery-style arrangement. This central section creates hierarchy within the composition while introducing additional depth and visual interest.
Frameless glazing and slimline bronze detailing maintain clean architectural lines, while concealed integrated lighting highlights the texture of the materials and enhances the dramatic ambience of the space.
The cabinetry itself is carefully balanced between open display and practical storage capacity, ensuring the collection remains both beautifully presented and easily accessible.
